BMT Fluid Mechanics appoints Franz Zdravistch as Regional Manager for Houston

BMT Fluid Mechanics is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Franz Zdravistch as Regional Manager for the new Houston office of BMT Fluid Mechanics Ltd, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd.
Franz joins BMT Fluid Mechanics following nine years as Technical Manager of the Oil & Gas Industry Team and Lead Consulting Engineer for North and Latin America at Fluent Inc. USA. In his new role he will be responsible for developing and marketing the consultancy activities in North America, focussing predominantly in the fields of oil and gas, marine engineering, and building physics. He has over 18 years of relevant experience in fluid mechanics, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), consulting projects execution, as well as project management, team leadership, business and marketing development activities.
He has specific oil and gas industry experience encompassing drill bits, down hole tools, well completions, subsea equipment, flow assurance, gas and pollutant dispersion and flow around offshore structures, separators, mixers, reactors and pumps.
Franz commented: "I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead, including building our capabilities further and expanding our market share in the North American and South American markets. Numerical modelling and CFD, in particular are exciting and rapidly advancing fields that show huge potential to exploit new opportunities across the O&G sector."

The Houston office will be co-located with BMT Scientific Marine Services, BMT Reliability Consultants and BMT Marine & Offshore Surveys.
